I-95 CORRIDOR HEALTH FAIR Santee, SC
Friday, August 5, 2011
Jim Clyburn's Rudolph Canzater Memorial Golf Classic is held every August in Santee, South Carolina, and has become a family-oriented weekend. The proceeds from this annual event are used to fund college scholarships for needy students and to support the James and Emily Clyburn Endowment for Archives and History at South Carolina State University. Over the years, we have contributed over $500,000 to more than 500 college students to assist them in their educational pursuits.
This year's event is continuing a mission it began last year to focus on the grave health disparities along the 1-95 Corridor in South Carolina. Many times it is the lack of a diagnosis or proper treatment of chronic illnesses that leads to irreversible damage. This health fair is an opportunity to receive free screenings for chronic conditions and obtain information from pharmaceutical representatives.
This health fair is FREE, and the public is invited to attend. Pre-registration is encouraged by July 28th. To register or for more information, call toll free 877-501-5111.
Testing will be provided by the Regional Medical Center.
